After Sculptra, gentle massage helps evenly distribute the product beneath the skin and supports the collagen-stimulating process. This step is an essential part of achieving smooth, natural-looking results.
We recommend massaging the treated areas for 5 minutes, twice a day, for one week following your treatment. This helps ensure the product settles evenly while your body begins its natural collagen-building response.
Some mild swelling or bruising may occur and typically resolves within several days, its important to continue massage even if you are tender.
To make post-treatment massage easier and more comfortable for our patients, we developed BIOSÈME, a water-activated arnica massage cream designed specifically for Sculptra aftercare. When activated with water, the cream creates a smooth glide that allows you to gently massage the skin while supporting hydration, soothing bruising with and barrier repair.
